Healing

I silksceened the original image in many layers onto paper. Next, I cut slits into the paper and wove metallic ribbon through the slits to signify the union of the two forms. There are bits of gold leaf applied to signify how previous wounds are covered to heal. The edge of the piece was sewn multiple times on my serger. Finally, I sealed the piece in a light gloss. It is signed on the back.
